Types:

• İnternal Bleaching:
  • Applied after color changes (darkening or graying) in teeth that have undergone root canal treatment.
  • Retreatment of the root canal may be necessary before bleaching.
  • It is decided by the dentist after an X-ray and oral examination.
• Home bleaching;
  • Performed at home with a kit prepared and provided by the dentist.
  • Custom transparent trays are prepared in a laboratory based on impressions taken from the upper and lower jaws.
  • The dentist selects the appropriate concentration and amount based on factors like age, gender, and tooth color.
  • Whitening is applied by putting gel into the trays, especially during sleep.
• Office bleaching;
  • Performed in a clinical setting.
  • Gel is applied to the teeth and activated with a laser device for about 15 minutes.
  • The treatment is scheduled over 5-7 days, with 3 sessions in total, completed within 15-21 days.

Visible results can be seen after the first session.
